The Master writes “I have been summoned by the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor, Alderman Charles Bowman and the Lady Mayoress, Samantha Bowman to attend London’s top criminal court, The Old Bailey, on Friday 6 July 2018 where I will be arrested and charged (for crimes yet unknown) and then taken to The Tower of London where I will be incarcerated pending payment of £1,000 bail.

Provided I raise at least £1,000 (in aid of the British Red Cross) then I will be released later that day. However, failure to pay the appropriate amount could result in indefinite detention (and an inability to complete my duties as Master of the Worshipful Company of Plumbers).
