Past Master George Shaw was the Main Promoter of the Registration of Plumbers in 1886 and as such played a very important role in our history. Past Steward John Carnaby has written a very detailed article with illustrations on his life for those who would like to read it in full. Past Master Peter Brunner has assisted him in the production of an abridged version of the text for those with a little less time on their hands!
