Plumbers Triumph at Horners’ Inter-Livery Golf Trophy
Congratulations to the Plumbers’ Golf Team who won the 2022 Horners’ Inter-Livery Golf Trophy at the beautiful Ashridge Golf Club in Buckinghamshire.
The Plumbers’ entered two four-ball teams in a field of well over 20 teams for one of the highlights of the Inter-Livery golf calendar.

It was a fabulous day out in glorious sunshine and warm hospitality from the Ashridge staff. The team of Paul Nash, Jane Palmer, Mike Samuel and Trevor Wilson all contributed to their excellent 97 point card in the team stableford competition, with the best two scores on each hole counting, beating the next nearest team, the Tin Plate workers, by 6 points. This is also believed to be the first team with a lady member to win in the history of the competition.
We last won this prestigious trophy in 2018. With an excellent lunch to finish the day and a bottle of champagne each for the winners, this was a splendid day in the glorious Chiltern Hills.
