Plumbers’ Golf Society Autumn Meet
The Plumbers’ Golf Society (PGS) got together again for its Autumn meet at the beautiful woodland Wildernesse Golf Club in Kent on 2 September 2021.
Now a regular feature in our annual calendar of events, 14 members and their guests enjoyed a great day. The Master Elect, who revealed he plays (occasionally) also joined us with his guest, John Slater.

After bacon rolls and coffee we all enjoyed a great social round of golf before repairing to the club house for a splendid two-course lunch. There were some informal prizes, which we were delighted to share with some of our guests. The winner overall was Past Steward Richard Harvey with a great 3 under par round.

Second and third places, with excellent scores of 1 under par, were won by our guests, Jim O’Shea and Mick Medcalf, respectively. We also had some nearest the pin prizes, and no-one was more delighted than Liveryman Trevor Wilson on the par 3 tenth.

As ever, a huge thank you to Liveryman David Hannam, PGS secretary and Liveryman Tony Peters, PGS Treasurer, for all their hard work and excellent organisation of the day. We were also looked after warmly and professionally by the Wildernesse staff.
We are looking forward to the Lord Mayor’s Charity Day at Moor Park GC later this month and indeed the whole of next year’s season, including a return to Wildernesse GC in September 2022. If you would like to join us and have some fun too, please contact David Hannam at plumberscompanygolf@gmail.com
