David’s son Ben Thomson has advised the funeral arrangements will be as follows:

Thursday, 15th December

2.30.  Service at St Andrew’s Church, South Stoke,  RG8 0JQ

4.00.  Tea at Little Stoke Farm (Barn)

The Master will be attending to represent the Company, and Liverymen are invited.  Whomsoever plans to attend, please advise the Clerk so he can pass on an indication of numbers.

To quote Ben Thomson, “my father was so honoured to have been the Master, having been introduced by my great uncle, Alban Caroe.  The family will probably not have a memorial service, as despite David Thomson’s many achievements, he was at heart a very modest person”.
