Out With The Old – In With The New
Past Master Prof Rodney Cartwright has handed over to our previous Clerk, Senior Court Assistant and Renter Warden Elect Air Cdre Paul Nash to run our new Website.
After 8 years running our existing website from its inception Rodney Cartwright has handed over as Webmaster to Paul Nash at the launch of our new website on Friday 26 July 2019. Rodney has done an outstanding job keeping everyone informed and up to date with all our news and activities, often posting items almost before they have occurred! Thank you Rodney.
But the software on the existing site was old and unsupported and a team has been working behind the scenes with Igloo, a web development company, to design the modern, new website. It will not only keep you up to date and informed, but also allow you to book functions and events on-line and hopefully in due course pay on-line. The new site will also be fully compatible with tablets and smart phones (have a look and see) and fully GDPR compliant. Company members will need to complete the data consent form to access and use the members’ section of the website. Please contact the office if you haven’t received yours.
