Leslie Andrews

Liveryman Leslie Andrews of Mayfield, Sussex, recently died at the age of 90.

Our thoughts and condolences go to his daughter, Hilary Cowley, and all members of his family.

The Lord Mayor’s Show 2023

On Saturday, 11th November 2023, our second year appearing in the Show, our walkers were the Master, Upper Warden, Renter Warden, and Clerk, and we were dressed in WCoP badged blue boilers suits and caps. [Almost unrecognisable out of their gowns!] There was no doubt as to who we were, and we generated a lot of cheers from the crowd and many requests to mend boilers and similar work!

The Plumbers’ 2023 Installation of Master David Adams

The premier event in the Worshipful Company of Plumbers’ calendar is the Installation. This is the formal assumption of office by the Master and the two Wardens, at a 4-centuries’ old ceremony, held in the Company’s church following the confirmation of election by the Court.

Photos of the event by Marcus Jamieson-Pond are hosted on Snapfish. You may download low-res versions or open a Snapfish account for high-res versions (and the first few downloads are free).

It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Alison Alexander who passed away on 27th September, two months after being diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer, which progressed so rapidly it was not possible to commence any treatment for her, nor for her to be able to return home for her final days.

Our heartfelt condolences to David Alexander at this very difficult time, who was Master in 2007-2008.
