We had hoped to be seeing Father Philip in our company church St Magnus-the-Martyr this Christmas to enjoy our carol service, but the Covid-19 outbreak prevented it. In it’s place, he has recorded this message for us.
It is with much sadness that we have learnt of the death of Liveryman Graham Wrightson. His daughter Margaret advised us that he passed away on 19 November; Graham was 94 years old and had been a member of the company since 1987. Our thoughts are with Margaret and all his family.
Past Master Professor Rodney Cartwright gave a fascinating and thought provoking presentation on past and present epidemics through the company’s history and measures to control them, many of which involved “plumbing”.
It is with great sadness we have to announce the death of Patience Thomson, the wife of the Father of our Company, Past Master David Thomson. Patience passed away on Saturday 21 November. We send our heartfelt condolences to David and all their family.

It is with much sadness we have to announce the death of Liveryman Charles King RP. He died peacefully at the age of 84 years after a long illness and had been a member for 39 years. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
