New Liverymen Clothed

Company News

During the pandemic lockdown we had to hold all our admissions of new liveryman virtually on-line. This meant we could not complete their ceremonial clothing and meet them in person. We were at last able to do so at our Installation Court on 20 October 2021.

Our new liverymen are, from left to right in the main picture:

Karl Chamberlain. Proposed byAsst Paul Flatt, Karl is a design engineer and director at Deutsche Bank.

William McHenry. Proposed by Asst Paul Flatt, William is global head of critical systems & engineering at JP Morgan Chase.

Dr Victor McLachlan. Proposed by Past Steward Richard Harvey, Victor is a chemist working for British Aerospace.

Lord Kirkhope of Harrogate. Proposed by Past Master Nick Gale, Lord Timothy is the former MP for Leeds NE and MEP for Yorkshire, and was given his peerage in 2016.

Dr Adrian Buica. Proposed by Master Peter Rumley, Adrian is a consultant public health engineer and director at Genever & Partners Ltd.

 

We are delighted they have joined the Worshipful Company of Plumbers. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Plumbers and we look forward to enjoying and sharing their company at the various events and functions we will be holding as we move out of lockdown.
