Alderman William Russell is a Court Assistant of the Haberdashers’ Company and the Feltmakers’ Company and an Honorary Liveryman of the Paviors’ Company. He was elected Alderman for the Ward of Bread Street in March 2013 and served as the Aldermanic Sheriff for the City in 2016-17.

The Master, Master Elect, Renter Warden Elect and nine other members of the Plumbers’ Company answered the summons to attend Common Hall in the Guildhall, a fine mixture of pomp and ceremony together with the all important election.  We then all enjoyed a splendid lunch at the newly refurbished Butchers’ Hall.

Our thanks to the Butchers’ Company for hosting us so well and our congratulations to Alderman Russell on his election and best wishes for his forthcoming year in office.
