It is with great sadness we have to announce the death of Liveryman Phil Mead on 5 March 2012. He had been diagnosed with cancer and passed away with his wife Wendy and family by his side. Phil had been a liveryman for 36 years and a stalwart of the Plumbing Museum Workshop Trust, dedicated to the craft of lead casting. We send our deepest condolences to Wendy and all the family. He will be sorely missed. We have also lost another great member of the Plumbers’ family too! A full tribute will follow.
