The Master and his Consort have exclusive use of the Foundling Museum for the day and are delighted to invite you to a sparkling event including:

  • A champagne reception
  • Presentation on the history of the Foundling Museum
  • A concert featuring Jonatan Bougt playing Handel on a Theorbo
  • An excellent three course lunch from their wonderful French Chef

Freedom to explore the museum after lunch

The Foundling Hospital, established by Thomas Coram in 1745, is home to many amazing stories of heartbreak, hope, generosity, loss, resilience and imagination. Above all the stories are personal.

While the Foundling celebrates remarkable people like William Hogarth and Frideric Handel it also bears witness to many mothers and their foundling children. Sharing the testimonies of children from the Foundling Hospital, is a humbling experience. An experienced guide will present the history of the Foundling Museum

Jonatan Bougt comes highly recommended by our wonderful, musical clerk. He has performed Handel worldwide and won many prizes. Our Clerk describes the Theorbo as a large Banjo. Handel meets George Formby

Their French chef is committed to fantastic seasonal food and wine. He has catered for us many times with brilliant results.

The cost for the event is a very attractive £65 per head. Booking and payment is via the website.

The Foundling Museum is located at 40 Brunswick Square London WC1N 1AZ
