Summer Festival – Wednesday 8 September 2021
The Master, Dr Peter Rumley and his consort, Bridget, invite you to join them for our delayed Summer Festival ‘Welcome back’ dinner in Salters’ Hall. The evening will commence at 6.30 pm with a Champagne reception in the gardens of the hall (weather permitting) and the opportunity to have your photograph taken with your guests before dinner. Carriages will be at 10:30pm
We are delighted that our principal guest and speaker will be Tim Knox FSA who was appointed Director of the Royal Collection by Her Majesty the Queen in 2018. He has previously been Curator of the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge and Director of Sir John Soane’s Museum in London.
The cost of a ticket will be £105 a head. Dress: Black Tie (Dinner Jacket).
The Salters’ Hall is at 4 London Wall Place on Fore Street, post code EC2Y 5DE. The nearest tube station is Moorgate.
Please book your place through the website. The preferred method of payment is by bank transfer (sort code 16-00-15, account number 23161144, also recording your surname). It is also possible to pay by cheque, payable to The Worshipful Company of Plumbers and sent to the Company office.
This is always an evening of fun and fellowship to which all members of the Livery, their partners and guests will be given a hearty welcome. It will be our big event for over 18 months and with Government restrictions coming to an end, we hope for a full-house of 125. Book your place early!
Once you have booked, a pour memoire will be sent nearer the date.
I very much look forward to seeing you there!
