Not all Plain Sailing – Navigating Organisation Change: Free Zoom Webinar
How can career journeys within the Royal Navy assist recruitment and retention within the Worshipful Company of Plumbers?
Commodore Ellie Ablett (L) & Commander Liz Walmsley (R)
The Women in the Livery (WIL) team are delighted to announce two highly respected and experienced speakers for this networking event, Cdre Ellie Ablett MBE, Royal Navy (Ret’d) and Cdr Liz Walmsley Royal Navy (Ret’d). This will be an informal style, with both speakers discussing their experiences and with plenty of opportunities for the attendees to ask questions via the Q&A function on Zoom. Their biographies can be found through the link here.
The hour long webinar, from 1730 to 1830 on 28 April, is intended to be a networking event for all, to encourage a more diverse membership and to help “future-proof” the organisation. With some excellent role models within the Company, how do we showcase these and how do we encourage new members to join and importantly, to stay? The Company already has established links with the Royal Navy. We provide awards for the RN and the Richmond Sea Cadets provide the Carpet Guard of Honour every year at our Annual Banquet, so it will be invaluable to hear how the RN have developed their recruitment strategies and what advice they can provide.
Organisational change is an ongoing challenge within many companies and the speakers have a number of key transferable messages which will be invaluable.
This webinar is free to join on Zoom and we would welcome your contribution. Details on how to register by email will be sent out shortly. The zoom link will then be sent to you just before the event.
We look forward to seeing you.
