Masters’ and Clerks’ Lunch – 21 April 2020 – Cancelled
We very much regret that this event has been cancelled because of the outbreak of Coronavirus.
The Master and Wardens and Court of Assistants invite you to join them for lunch in the splendid surroundings of the Carpenters’ Hall on Throgmorton Avenue on Tuesday 21st April 2020 at 1240hr for 1300hr.
Our guest speaker will be Sir Robert Worcester DL the American-born British pollster who is the founder of MORI and a member and contributor to many voluntary organisations. He is a well-known figure in British public opinion research and political circles and as a media commentator, especially about voting intentions in British and American elections.
We will be joined by Masters and Clerks from at least seven other Livery Companies and welcoming new Liverymen to be clothed that morning and their partners.
The cost of the reception (with sparkling wine from Kent) and three-course luncheon with wines is £90 per head (£75 + £15 VAT). Dress is lounge suit or equivalent with Livery Badges. Liverymen are welcome to bring guests to this event.
I look forward to seeing you at what promises to be a most excellent event.
