Inter-Livery Yacht Race 2024
Once again, we will be entering a boat into the Inter Livery Yacht Regatta, which takes place on Friday, 17th and Saturday, 18th May. The Worshipful Company of Plumbers won the 2019 City Livery Yacht Club Race, and brought home trophies in 2021 and 2022.
We are out to make it another successful regatta, so sign up now to join us by contacting Court Assistant Gary Wingrove.
Sailors and spectators are all very welcome. This is a great chance to spend a fun weekend representing or supporting your Livery in Cowes, a historic and world class centre of yachting.
If you would like to sail then some experience would be helpful, but not essential.
If you would like to spectate, we have been allocated the upper terrace of the Island Sailing Club for this, and it’s got great views over the racing area. You are also invited to attend the dinners on Friday and Saturday nights.
There will be two races on the Saturday: the first starts at 10.00, and the second finishes in time for all to get ready for the 18.30 presentation dinner at the world-famous Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes.
