Court Lunch – January 2024

The Master, Wardens, and Court of Assistants invite you to join them for lunch in the magnificent surroundings of Mercers’ Hall (Mercers are number one in the Order of Precedence) on Tuesday, 23rd January 2024 at 1230hr for 1300hr.

Mercers’ Hall is on Ironmongers Lane, just off Cheapside and near the Bank.

Our guest speaker will be Davor Pisk, who has over 35 years of leadership experience in global business having held senior commercial roles in ICI, AstraZeneca, and Syngenta. His career has focused on helping farmers to maximize the productivity of their soil and water resources through the adoption of novel seed and crop protection products and know-how. A past speaker at various international fora, including the United Nations Conference on Trade & Development and the World Food Prize, Davor is particularly passionate about helping small scale agriculture to become more productive and sustainable. Davor is currently a Non- Executive Director of Advanta (seed company), where he also serves as Chair of the Sustainability Committee.

At the meeting of the Court and the lunch, we will be welcoming five new Liverymen and their partners, all joining us for lunch.

The cost of the reception and three-course luncheon with wines is £85 per head.

Dress is lounge suit or equivalent with Livery Badges.

Liverymen are welcome to bring guests to this event.
