Annual Banquet 2024
The Master, David Adams, and his Mistress, Kathy, and Wardens are delighted to invite you to join them to our Annual Banquet at the Mansion House, held in the glorious surroundings of the Egyptian Hall, by kind permission of the Lord Mayor.
The Banquet is the highlight of the Company’s year at a truly spectacular venue, with the chance to dine with family, friends, and business associates at the Lord Mayor’s official residence.
The evening will start with a Champagne reception, and the opportunity to have your photograph taken with your guests before dinner.
Those who have attended previous banquets will know what a special event this is, with a mixture of formality and the warmth of our very convivial Company.
This is an ideal opportunity to introduce potential new Liverymen, holders or former holders of public or civic office, and professional or business colleagues. You are also encouraged to bring your partners and adult family members as guests.
Speakers
We are delighted that our principal guest speaker for the evening will be Mark Vessey MA DPhil.
We also look forward to hearing from the Lord Mayor Locum Tenens who will be Alderman Vincent Keaveny CBE.
As ever, the London Banqueting Ensemble will be entertaining us during the reception and dinner while our affiliated unit, the Richmond Sea Cadets, will provide a fine Guard of Honour.
Dress
Dress is White Tie, or Mess Dress with decorations, or long gowns.

Timing and entry
The event starts at 6.15pm for 6.45pm, with carriages at 10:30pm.
Pour mémoire cards will be sent before the event, and these must be shown upon entry to Mansion House.
Pricing
Thanks to generous support from our Corporate Members, we are able to offer places at £135 (£112.50 + £22.50 VAT).
