Plumbers’ Annual Lecture Monday 20 May 2019
Emma Howard-Boyd, the Chair of the Environment Agency, will present a paper on ‘Too much, too little, too hot, too cold: Extreme weather, what do we do next?’
The Lecture will be presented at The Royal College of Physicians, 11 St Andrews Place, Regents Park, London NW1 4LE. The event will start at 5pm followed by the lecture at 6pm. This will be followed by reception drinks at 7pm and an excellent dinner at 7.30pm. The evening will end at approximately 9.30 pm.
Emma has spent her 25 year career working in financial services, initially in corporate finance, and then in fund management, specialising in sustainable investment and corporate governance. As Director of Stewardship at Jupiter Asset Management until July 2014, Emma was integral to the development of their reputation in the corporate governance and sustainability fields. Emma is currently Chair of the Environment Agency and serves on various boards and advisory committees including, Green Finance Taskforce (Member), ShareAction (Chair of Trustees), Menhaden Capital PLC, the Aldersgate Group, the 30% Club and the Executive Board of The Prince’s Accounting for Sustainability Project.
