Plumber’s Lose a Thrilling Golf Match By a Single Putt
In glorious sunshine and on a beautiful course we enjoyed a wonderful day’s golf and warm hospitality. Senior Steward Danny Flowers and a Past Captain of Croham Hurst Golf Club in Croydon organised the match for the third year running and it has now become an annual feature of our golf calendar.
The competition could not have been closer with the lead switching as each four-ball came in. In the end a single putt was the winning margin. The Plumbers are now 2:1 up in the annual competitions.
We then enjoyed drinks in the sunshine on the terrace, before a fine four-course lunch.
Many thanks to Danny for another superbly organised day and to Croham Hurst Golf Club for looking after us so well.
