United Guilds’ Service – 27 March 2020
The Annual United Guilds’ Service will be held in St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday 27th March 2020 at 11.15am.
After the Service, the Worshipful Company of Butchers has kindly invited us to join them in their very newly refurbished hall for a drinks reception and full 3-course lunch with wines.
The Company has received its limited allocation of tickets for the Livery Company’s reserved seating area as usual. Wives/partners are very welcome to attend the service, but seats for them are in a separate area and are not reserved. Please do note this as it causes embarrassment if we have to move individuals from reserved seats. There should be no entry to the reserved seating area without a ticket and everyone is expected to be seated by 10.45am.
A rather splendid event, tickets will be allocated on a “first come first served” basis and those allocated a reserved seat will receive a ticket. Liverymen should wear their livery ties and badge on this occasion.
The costs are as follows:
Service only – £10.00 (which is a donation to the Cathedral)
Service and Lunch together £75.00 (including VAT for the lunch and the donation)
Please make your application through the website or complete and return the booking slip to arrive no later than noon, Wednesday 18th March 2020.
I look forward to seeing you there.
